This Squirrel on Log Table-top Bronze Statue captures a squirrel in alert, curious repose atop a naturalistic log, rendered with bushy tail, perky ears, detailed paws, and textured bark through traditional lost wax casting.

Cast in solid bronze using the lost wax method, the sculpture measures 9"W × 6"L × 9"H — a compact scale perfectly suited to bookshelves, desks, mantels, and nature study areas. The hand-applied patina develops rich character over time, with weather-resistant construction suited to both refined interior settings and outdoor display.

The squirrel symbolizes resourcefulness, playfulness, and the industrious spirit of preparation — a beloved emblem of backyard wildlife and the everyday magic of the woodland world. This piece resonates with nature lovers, wildlife enthusiasts, cabin owners, and collectors who appreciate the intersection of whimsy and natural history.

Lost wax bronze casting, museum-grade anatomical detail, bushy tail and perky ear rendering, textured naturalistic log base, hand-applied aged patina, compact 9-inch scale, suitable for indoor and outdoor placement, investment-grade wildlife sculpture with timeless woodland appeal.

Ideal for home bookshelves, office desks, mantels, cabin interiors, garden sheds, and nature-themed collections — and a charming gift for nature lovers, wildlife enthusiasts, gardeners, outdoor educators, or any occasion celebrating the beauty of backyard wildlife and woodland creatures.

Metropolitan Galleries specializes in investment-grade bronze sculptures that honor classical casting traditions while celebrating the natural world in all its forms. Each piece is produced with attention to anatomical accuracy, expressive detail, and lasting structural integrity.
